PENDING TRADE DEAL
I was given a letter at the Union Hall for our members to see and respond to if they wish.
There is a new Trade deal underway.
If it gets to President Obama's desk, he has promised to sign it.
What has been made clear is upon approval of this bill:

    1. An estimated 60,000 American jobs will be exported to Viet Nam.
Wages there run 75 cents per hour.
    2. There are more countries in the Pacific region who will benefit from this .
Many people here ( America ) will lose if this goes through.
    3. We have been told that Senator Portman stands as the way to possibly stop this.
A sample advisory letter has been formulated by the IUE
The informational letter gives you ideas that may be useful in writing your letter.
Clicking on these links below will open them in a separate window on your computer.
